On 24 March the senior netball team went to Cornelius for the district netball rally. The girls had 4 games in their pool against Sweyne, Deanes, Appleton and Cornelius and won every single one, leading them to the semi-final which was against Fitzwimarc.  This did not faze them and they won putting them into the final against King John.  The team were determined to remain unbeaten and it was this drive that ensured they remained that way and beat King John with a strong win to become District Champions, 2014.

On 25 March the U16 senior girls played in the Essex cup final against Barking Abbey. This was the first time the team had reached the Essex cup finals in the U16 category. It was a closely contested game with the first quarter ending 4-4. The girls took their time to get into the game and after the second quarter they were still down 10-7. This gave the girls the motivation to come and bring it back to make sure they still had a chance. This is what the girls did and after the third quarter it was a tight 14-14. Now only 10 minutes remained in the last quarter and everyone put their full efforts into action. With two very happy coaches and several excited parents on the side line, Greensward finished the game with a fantastic result of 24-18 making the senior girls team Essex cup champions.

Well done to Megan Jones, Abigail Miloslawer, Lauren Reason, Amber Evans, Georgia Logan, Abby Cronin, Emily Gaskin, Summer Osborne, Emily Gaskin and Zoe Willis.
