The Mathematics Department at Greensward Academy is housed in newly built classrooms with modern facilities which include interactive whiteboards. The department is outstanding as recognised by Ofsted in their 2014 inspection which found that “all students make outstanding progress in mathematics because of the outstanding teaching they receive”. The academy provides good CPD for all staff. We follow a traditional approach to teaching Mathematics which includes group and thought provoking activities. The Mathematics Department Team consists of 11 teachers and LSA support for SEN students.
We are looking for an exceptional classroom teacher who demonstrates high standards of delivery in a consistent manner. You will be committed to improving achievement across key stage 4 and understand the strategies required to accomplish this. You must be a strong leader with the ability to inspire both staff and students. Enthusiastic, a winning personality, and an imaginative approach to the delivery of the curriculum area and attention to details are essential.
