At KS3, we study a range of topics and texts that cover all aspects of the curriculum, and encourage students participate in the English Society that is run by the sixth formers. We start KS4 within year 9 after Christmas, beginning with skills and over views of the topics they will later cover. Students begin studying for their AQA GCSE in year 10, and continue this and their Literature course in year 11. We offer both English Literature and English Language A levels, and these are some of the most popular courses in the academy.
